Shunfan Zheng (he/him) is a Designer II in Studio Gang’s New York office. Since joining the Studio, he has contributed to a variety of complex design efforts within the city, including work in healthcare and commercial sectors. Shunfan shares the Studio’s interest in adaptive reuse, believing that looking to the past can help shape more inventive, sustainable futures.
Originally from Shenzhen, Shunfan has worked in both China and the United States, with previous experience at Höweler+Yoon Architecture and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, where he developed architectural strategies for both rural and urban contexts. He holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Outside the office, Shunfan enjoys swimming, film, and spicy food.
