Micheal Nham is a Project Leader in Studio Gang’s Chicago office. Originally trained as a computer engineer, Micheal came to architecture to use his technical skills to make a larger contribution to society and create spaces as powerful as those he’s encountered in his travels. The Studio’s synthetic design process and the layered complexity of its projects both drew him to the office. He is currently supporting the construction administration of the Beloit College Powerhouse, leveraging his previous experience designing and overseeing the construction of academic and tower projects as a designer at Robert A.M. Stern Architects.
Micheal holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. Born in Saigon and raised in Canada before spending a decade in New York, he’s now excited to call Chicago home. Outside the office he can be found cycling, exploring new restaurants and dishes, cheering for his beloved Edmonton Oilers, and cooking up a mean jambalaya.
