Liao He

Architect Liao He is a Designer II in the Chicago office. Originally from Chengdu, China, Liao brings four years of experience designing high-rise towers in Asia for SOM. Attracted to architecture for its complexity, Liao came to Studio Gang for our broad range of projects in all phases, from concept to construction.

Liao holds a Master of Architecture from Washington University in Saint Louis, where he was also a research assistant for two years. Outside of the office, you might find him playing badminton, snowboarding, or eating spicy foods. He also enjoys road trips—especially if there is an RV involved! —and spending time with his stubborn and goofy beagle puppy.
