Claire Cahan

Claire Cahan (she/her) is a Principal in our Chicago office and Studio Gang’s Chief Learning Officer. She develops and oversees strategic initiatives that enrich the Studio’s shared culture and support the continued growth of all members of the Studio. As leader of the People Team, she curates the studio’s four office environments, designs systems that enable studio members to engage with our work and each other across every project and office, and develops educational, cultural, and mentorship programs that strengthen the values, knowledge, and skill set of the Studio.

Having been with Studio Gang for over a decade, Claire previously led the practice’s exhibitions and special projects, and has also worked on some of the Studio’s most pivotal, large-scale projects, including the strategic framework plan for the National Aquarium in Baltimore. She received her Master of Architecture from Tulane University, and is a licensed architect in the state of Illinois.
