Jing Chen-Joyeux (she/her) is a Senior Project Leader in Studio Gang’s Paris office. She was drawn to the Studio because of their emphasis on the relationship between people and their environment in every project. Passionate about the way architecture fuses multiple disciplines like art and history, technique and science, and sociology and politics; Jing brings 10 years of industry experience to the Studio. Currently, Jing is working on an upcoming project in Paris, France.
Before joining Studio Gang, Jing was a junior architect at OMA in Rotterdam and a Project Leader at Buro Ole Scheeren in Beijing, where she led several international urban planning and mixed-use projects from concept design to construction drawings. From 2013 to 2015, she was a visiting professor for the School of Architecture at Central Academy of Fine Art in Beijing, China.
Jing received a Diplom Ingenieur Architektur degree, a six-year degree program that combines the bachelor and master program, at the Technische Universitaet Kaiserslautern in Germany. Born in Wuhan, China; Jing enjoys cooking, learning new languages and cultures, and watching films.
