Architect Seanna Walsh (she/her) is a Project Leader based in Studio Gang’s Chicago office. Drawn to Studio Gang for its projects and teams that focus on bringing people together and living lightly on the planet, Seanna is interested in the expression of systems that respond to environmental, social, and site conditions through architecture. Bringing experience leading design teams for several high-rise and urban planning projects in the US and China at SOM, she looks forward to fostering an interdisciplinary and collaborative design approach to the Studio’s ongoing work in Paris, France.
While studying at Sorbonne Université early in her career, Seanna was inspired to create her undergraduate thesis on post-colonial architecture in Northern Africa, a study that continues to inform and impact the way she approaches design for cultural contexts different from her own.
Seanna received a Master of Architecture from Rice University in Houston, Texas, and a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from Tufts University in Somerville, Massachusetts. Outside architecture, she enjoys hiking, camping, dancing, and reading.
