Olesya Vodenicharska is a Project Leader in Studio Gang’s San Francisco office, where she is currently working on the Kresge College Renewal at the University of California, Santa Cruz as well as the California College of the Arts.
She gained experience designing complex projects through her work on mixed-use buildings at Kohn Pederson Fox in New York, major cultural projects at Herzog & de Meuron in Basel, and as a designer in MVRDV’s department for large scale, complex buildings and innovative material research in Rotterdam. Olesya’s diverse background in international projects has cemented her belief that design can positively impact communities around the world, and she was drawn to the Studio for its emphasis on material and contextual research.
She holds a Master of Architecture from Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio, Switzerland and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University, where she also participated as a studio critic. She calls Rome and Boston home.
