Luis Medina (he/him) is a Designer I in the Chicago office, where he is working on the O’Hare Global Terminal team. Interested in the intersection of urban and user experience design, Luis brings professional experience working on both the client and design sides of projects, having previously worked at two real estate development offices in Phoenix and at BIG in Copenhagen. Drawn to the Studio for our collaborative and sustainable design approach, he believes in the power of architecture to improve health and quality of life in metropolitan environments.
Luis holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Design from Arizona State University. Luis is proud to call Caracas, Venezuela, home, along with other cities where he’s lived—Phoenix, Miami, Copenhagen, Madrid, and now Chicago. Luis’s love of travel supports his enthusiasm for trying new foods. He also enjoys camping, coffee breaks, and his daily CrossFit workouts.
