Liang Hu

Liang Hu is a Designer II in the Studio’s New York office, currently supporting the design and construction of two civic projects in Brooklyn. He brings experience from Mitchell Giurgola Architects, Ennead Architects, and Tandem Design Studio in Melbourne, Australia, where he worked on institutional and cultural projects. Interested in architecture’s ability to shape communities, Liang was drawn to Studio Gang for our attention to sustainability and community engagement.

Originally from Ningbo, China, Liang holds a Master of Architecture from Yale University and a Bachelor of Environments, with a major in architecture, from the University of Melbourne. Outside of the office, Liang enjoys skiing, climbing, and photography.
