Architect Julcsi Futo is a Project Leader in Studio Gang’s New York office, where she brought her experience to cultural and public projects, including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation Headquarters. Hailing from Budapest, Julcsi has studied and worked throughout the United States and Europe, gaining a wide range of skills and experience. She brings her cross-cultural experience and a strong design sensibility to her work at Studio Gang. Interested in how the combination of simple elements such as walls, stairs or a roof can allow or prevent people from connecting with each other, she believes that by rethinking spatial adjacencies that are often taken for granted, architecture can create new relationships between its subjects and have a larger social impact.
Julcsi received her Master of Architecture from Yale University and Architecture Diploma from the University of Applied Arts Vienna (Die Angewandte).
