Amy Lawlor

Amy Lawlor (she/her) serves as Studio Gang’s Chief Human Resources Officer. Based in our Chicago office, she leads the human resources team and works closely with the Studio’s leadership to develop policies that enhance our team’s ability to design in a creative, collaborative, and inclusive environment.

Amy brings nearly two decades of experience in talent acquisition, performance management, benefits administration, compensation, and strategic planning. This includes four years leading human resource functions at CMK Companies, a top Chicago-based real estate developer.

Hailing from southeast Tennessee, she spent a decade in Atlanta before settling in Chicago in 2010. Amy received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Outside of the Studio, Amy enjoys traveling, exploring Chicago by bike, and striving to be a halfway decent golfer.
