Architect AJ Rosales (he/him) is a Project Leader in Studio Gang’s Chicago office. Having previously served as a principal at Frye Gillan Molinaro Architects, AJ’s twenty years of professional experience centers on public projects such as award-winning libraries. Drawn to Studio Gang for its mix of creativity, technical savvy, social awareness, and sustainable ideals, he is currently supporting the construction administration of the thirty-six-story One Hundred residential tower in St. Louis, Missouri.
AJ has long believed that well-designed architecture can enrich lives and is committed to bringing his technical expertise to bear on projects that create meaningful connections between people. He holds a Master of Architecture from SCI-Arc, where he was a teaching assistant for both undergraduate studios and graduate theory courses, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Outside the office, he can be found playing and composing music on guitar and piano and dabbling in video and film.
