Shuping Liu

Architect Shuping Liu (he/him) is a Designer II in the New York office, where he is working on repurposing a building at New York Institute of Technology into a new Biomedical Research and Innovation Center. Deeply interested in biophilic design and low impact modes of transportation such as walking, hiking, and biking, Shuping brings experience designing biophilic workspaces for SHoP Architects. He was drawn to Studio Gang for our ecological and playful design approach.

Shuping holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University. Born in Syracuse and raised partially in Taipei, he considers Taipei, New York State, and New York City home. Outside of the office, you might find Shuping hiking a trail, climbing in a National Park, or playing volleyball in Prospect Park.
