Responsibilities
- Work from the designs of others under supervision
- Perform routine and limited architectural assignments
- Participate in cross-field research, collaboration and iterative experimentation using digital and analog technologies
- Seek creative and innovative solutions to assigned tasks and participate in developing associated research and documentation for these solutions
- Participate in physical modeling initiatives in the model shop
Requirements
- Current enrollment in an accredited architecture program (Master 2)
- Fluent in French and English
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, strong knowledge of drafting and 3D rendering (Rhino, AutoCAD, Enscape)
- Excellent study and/or presentation skills
- Experience developing design options that communicate clear concepts
- Highly motivated with strong verbal and graphic communication skills
- Desire and ability to thrive in collaborative, creative, and open studio environment
- Can demonstrate understanding of design philosophy and relate assigned tasks to that philosophy
- Strong physical modelling skills

Studio Gang is seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Communications Coordinator to join our talented Marketing & Communications team full-time. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Principal, the Communications Coordinator will pay a key role in supporting the Studio’s promotional, PR, and business development efforts across print and digital outlets.
The ideal candidate will be excited by the opportunity to work across a wide variety of project types and will bring a passion for uniting visual and written elements to tell compelling stories about our Studio and our work across a range of outlets, platforms, and content types. They will support the visibility of the Studio in a range of ways, including by developing social media content, organizing public collateral, maintaining press lists and project information, coordinating photography, and overseeing staff bios and headshots.
In addition, the Communications Coordinator will bring a creative and imaginative approach to social media, with a passion for translating the Studio’s stories for a social audience. They will possess a fluency in content trends and how to optimize engagement and impact on various social media platforms. This will involve working closely with the Studio’s architectural, visualization, shop, and HR teams to develop content that highlight the unique aspects of the Studio’s work, process, and culture.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the development of press materials, including press packs, press releases, and public collateral.
- Supporting photography and videography of Studio and its projects, including liaising with photographers, coordinating photoshoots, and developing shot lists.
- Managing the Studio’s press inbox and managing certain incoming press requests.
- Media monitoring.
- Serving as key liaison with HR and People Team on the development and maintenance of staff collateral, including bios and headshots. Developing website and social content that communicates the Studio’s work, process, and culture.
- Working with the Chief People Officer and HR Director to develop and monitor online recruitment strategies.
- Supporting the Marketing & Communications team in the redesign and relaunch the Studio’s website.
- With guidance from Principal of Marketing & Communications, working with clients and external PR agencies to promote key public-facing events such as project milestones, building openings, and speaking engagements.
- Collaborating with the Marketing & Communications teams on business development and promotional initiatives, including production of awards submissions, coordination of studio and building tours, and creating newsletters.
- Working with the Marketing & Communications team to develop workflows that ensure consistency in messaging across all externally facing material, both print and digital.
- Maintaining data management systems, including press lists, project information logs, and supporting the transition to Deltek.
Required Skills and Experience
- 1-3 years of A/E industry experience in a marketing or communications-focused role
- Excellent writing skills and graphic sensibility
- Ability to effectively juggle multiple tasks under tight deadlines, with a keen eye for detail
- Passion for digital communication tools and technologies, including photography, video, and social media, as well as accompanying analytics and benchmarking tools
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics technologies
- Strong visual storytelling skills, especially website design
- Bachelor’s degree or above in architecture, design, marketing, communications, or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop required

Studio Gang’s compensation packages reflect our commitment to offering fair wages that are benchmarked against market standards as well as firmwide pay equity initiatives. The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $70,000 to $80,000 per year. Final compensation will be commensurate with experience.
