Architect Efi Orfanou is a Project Leader in Studio Gang’s New York office, specializing in interior architecture. Drawing on over a decade of experience leading interior projects of diverse typologies, Efi oversees interior work from concept to closeout.
Prior to joining Studio Gang, Efi led design teams at Beyer Blinder Belle, where she worked on renovations to the University of Pennsylvania Quadrangle, the redevelopment of the TWA Hotel, and the renewal of Adams House at Harvard University. Her particular interest lies in exploring the relationships that emerge from architecture and planning in urban areas.
Efi earned her Master of Architecture from the University College London and a Master and Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Patras in Greece. Originally from Athens, Efi has also lived in London and now calls New York City home. Outside of the office, she finds inspiration in travel and urban exploration.
