Julia Roberts (she/her) is a Project Leader in Studio Gang’s Chicago office, where she works with Principals to define the design for complex institutional and private projects in all phases. She has been a key contributor to the adaptive reuse of a tobacco warehouse into the new University of Kentucky College of Design, the concept design for a wildlife sanctuary, and, most recently, the construction of a private residence in Wyoming.
Julia holds a Master in Architecture with Distinction from the Harvard Graduate School of Design—where she was a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate and graduate studios—and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a Minor in Urban Design from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Outside of the studio, you can find Julia exploring new cities, trying new restaurants, and going for walks with her rescue dog, Bucky.
