Anne-Virginie Sala (she/her) is a Senior Project Leader in Studio Gang’s Paris office. In her more than 15 years of work in France she has led the design and construction administration of a wide range of projects, from public and institutional buildings such as train stations and laboratories to private housing and offices. Anne-Virginie chose a design career for its combination of creativity and problem solving—for example, the need to imagine and enact new ways of living in dense cities such as Paris—and is enthusiastically helping to build the foundation of Studio Gang’s practice in France. She is currently part of the team working on the University of Chicago Center in Paris in the 13th arrondissement.
Anne-Virginie earned her Architecture DPLG at l’Ecole Paris-La-Seine and holds a Baccalaureate in Economics from the Lycée Janson de Sailly. Born on the Mediterranean coast between Nice and San Remo, she has lived in Paris since childhood and called its 2nd arrondissement home for more than fifteen years, where she is a volunteer member of her neighborhood council. Photography, art history, and discovering new countries, cultures, and good wines are a few of her passions outside architecture.
