Andrea Rovetta

Architect Andrea Rovetta is a Project Leader in Studio Gang’s New York office, where he is currently engaged in residential projects. Having lived in Chicago prior to joining the Studio, Andrea was exposed to the Studio’s work and was struck by the idea that such diverse architectural realizations could tie into a cohesive design and social agenda. Passionate about architecture’s potential to deal with the infra-ordinary, Andrea grew up in Milan and, in addition to Chicago, has also lived in Perth and Rotterdam—each of which deeply affected his understanding of urban dynamics and the relationships between cities and architecture. He was drawn to Studio Gang for its ability to excel at embracing this complexity through iconic and thorough projects.

Andrea received a Bachelor of Architecture from the College of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology and studied at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands during a year-long exchange, in addition to summer programs in the United Kingdom and Spain. He loves traveling the world as well as motorcycle trips and skiing on the Alps.
