Evan Wermers

Evan Wermers is a Designer I in Studio Gang’s Chicago office. Particularly interested in the intersection of digital fabrication, materiality, craft, and design, Evan was drawn to Studio Gang for the integral role model-making plays in its iterative design process.

Evan earned a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Design from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he received the CRIT Scholar Research Fellowship. In 2018, Evan was awarded the Emerging Architects Excellence in Architectural Detail Award by AIA Nebraska.

Outside the office, Evan enjoys seasonal balanced-based sports like snowboarding, longboarding, skateboarding, and paddle boarding.
