Designer

Office: San Francisco

Studio Gang is seeking full-time Designers to join our team in San Francisco. Designers at Studio Gang assist with all phases of project design, from conceptual design through construction administration. Designers perform work on defined segments of a project under the direct supervision of experienced Project Leaders.

Responsibilities:
• Advance architectural concepts and ideas through iterative sketching, physical and digital modeling, diagramming, and rendering
• Seek creative and innovative solutions throughout the life of a project
• Produce coordinated design and construction drawings, documents, material studies, and specifications in accordance with design intent and technical requirements
• Communicate consistently through excellent written, verbal, and visual means
• Collaborate with team members to develop and document design solutions
• Mentor and offer guidance to team members
• Participate in Studio life through events, research, task forces, and special projects

Requirements:
• At least 2 years of professional experience
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in architecture
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit and 3D
rendering software
• Prior experience fabricating physical models

Additionally, all employees are eligible for discretionary bonuses and profit sharing, determined by individual performance and Studio profitability.

Studio Gang’s compensation packages reflect our commitment to offering fair wages that are benchmarked against market standards and cost of living benchmarks, as well as firmwide pay equity initiatives. The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $75,000-$95,000 per year. Final compensation will be commensurate with experience and location. Please note that the benefits and compensation are for US-based positions.
