Weston Walker at the 2017 Design Matters Conference

September 15, 2017
Chicago

As part of the 2017 Design Matters Conference, Studio Gang Design Principal Weston Walker participated in the panel Making Architecture Fun: Large-Scale Activations with Cathy Crane Frankel and Jamee Telford from the National Building Museum and moderated by Chase Rynd, also from the National Building Museum. They discussed the Studio’s recent installation Hive, presented as part of the Museum’s 2017 Summer Block Party.

The Design Matters Conference is the world’s only dedicated annual meeting that seeks to bring top designers, journalists, and civic leaders into exploratory dialogue with those not-for-profit professionals and volunteers charged with creating cultural programs (exhibitions, tours, lectures and symposia, festivals, films, and youth outreach) to spur broader public interest in architecture, urbanism, and culture.
