The Welcome Center at the award-winning IIT McCormick-Tribune Campus Center serves as the entry point for visitors to the entire IIT campus.
With its glass holographic projection screen, integrated plasma screens, and digital projection on the floor plane, the design seamlessly integrates technology into the space, enhancing visitors’ ability to orient themselves and navigate the campus while also visually communicating the college’s history and current events.
Interactive controls rise from the floor; projection equipment and lighting sink into the ceiling. Custom-designed furnishings are easily moved or reconfigured.
