Writers Theatre Wins 2017 Architizer A+ Awards

Studio Gang’s Writers Theatre has won both the juried and popular choice honors in the Architizer A+ Awards. This important civic and cultural anchor in Glencoe, Illinois, highlights theater’s ability to unite communities by transcending boundaries between people.
The Studio’s Civic Commons project was also recognized with a Special Mention.
The energy and interaction generated within the theater extends outward into the community beyond.
The canopy walk, constructed of a light wood lattice hung in tension, resonates with its surroundings and offers a unique space for theatergoers.
