WBEZ presented “The Making of ‘Working in America’” at the Harold Washington Library. Host Tony Sarabia sat down with the creative team behind the exhibition, including Studio Gang’s Claire Cahan, Radio Diaries producer Joe Richman, and project director Jane Saks of Project&.

Inspired by the work of influential journalist and author Studs Terkel, “Working in America” combines an NPR storytelling series, a photojournalism exhibition created by photographer Lynsey Addario and architect Jeanne Gang, and an ongoing interactive oral history initiative.
