Studio Gang Conducts a Rooftop Bioblitz

With the help of Steve Apfelbaum of Applied Ecological Services, Studio Gang conducted the very first bioblitz on its Chicago rooftop prairie. Led by the experts, Studio Gang team members took soil samples and identified the various species of life inhabiting this “island in the sky.”

We’ll continue to conduct a bioblitz each year to gain more insight into the life of our prairie.
