Studio Gang Breaks Ground on First European Buildings
Last week, Studio Gang broke ground on Q Residences in Amsterdam’s Buitenveldert neighborhood. Addressing the city’s urgent need for housing, the two buildings Quartz and Qube create a mixed-use community at a key intersection in Amsterdam-Zuid. Negotiating between a nearby city park and the rational concrete structures of the surrounding 1950s development, the project extends the urban fabric upward, introducing 250 residences for the growing city.
