River Edge Ideas Lab Exhibition at Expo 72

Studio Gang and eight other leading architectural firms with experience in developing innovative riverfronts, parks, and public spaces were engaged to provide their visions for a unified aesthetic along Chicago’s riverfront. All firm visions will be displayed as part of an interactive exhibit at Expo 72 and also as part of a smaller traveling exhibit at various locations and neighborhoods throughout the city as part of the 2017 Chicago Architecture Biennial programming. Ultimately, these ideas and subsequent public input will inform the development of updated river edge design guidelines for future projects along the Chicago River.
