Jeanne Gang named 2023 recipient of Charlotte Perriand Award

Jeanne has been named the 2023 recipient of the Charlotte Perriand Award by the Créateurs Design Association.

Now in its second year, the award recognizes architects whose work, like that of Perriand, reflects the belief that good design improves the quality of life of its users and community.

“I have long admired not only the beauty of Charlotte Perriand’s work, but also her social and environmental positions that were far ahead of her time,” said Jeanne. “I hope my work will encourage younger generations to care deeply for our natural world and our relationship with it, and that my practice inspires younger designers to engage the issues they care about, taking action to help all living things thrive.”

The award will be formally presented during a special ceremony to be held in Paris on January 21st.
