Studio Gang Principal Gia Biagi participated in the session Dynamic Duos: How Philanthropies are Helping Cities Revitalize at the National League of Cities’ City Summit 2017. She was joined by Theaster Gates, a social practice artist, Ryan Whalen, Global Partnerships Portfolio Director at the Rockefeller Foundation; and Carol Coletta, Senior Fellow at the Kresge Foundation.
The session explored the various ways in which the philanthropic community is partnering with cities and how communities can lean on these partnership opportunities to revitalize civic spaces.
