“Good” place-based design often leads to unintended consequences. On October 10, Studio Gang Principal Gia Biagi joined Carol Coletta of the Kresge Foundation, Bryce Detroit, and Susan Surface for a participatory dialogue about the good (and bad) impacts of community design.

Then, on October 11, Gia served on the jury for Place by Design’s Urban Strategy + Civic Engagement showcase featuring strategies to create more vibrant, innovative cities and engage the public in the design, planning and civic processes.
