Chicago Send-Off for the US Pavilion at the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale

Curators, exhibitors, press, and others participated in this send-off for the US Pavilion at the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale, hosted by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and the University of Chicago.
The event featured a conversation with Dimensions of Citizenship curators Ann Lui and Mimi Zeiger and select Chicago-based exhibitors, including Jeanne Gang, Andres Hernandez, and Amanda Williams, moderated by Yesomi Umolu, recently appointed artistic director of the 2019 Chicago Architecture Biennial.
Commissioned by SAIC and UChicago, the US Pavilion’s Dimensions of Citizenship exhibition will explore the relationship between citizenship and the built environment.
