“ Studio Gang, the internationally-recognized architecture and urban design practice, has launched a Youth Design Leadership Program as part of their commission to reimagine the Memphis riverfront and Tom Lee Park for the Memphis River Parks Partnership. The Youth Design Leadership Program will embed local students in the process of reimagining 25 acres of the Mississippi riverfront from bluff to bank between Georgia and Beale.
Studio Gang partnered with Knowledge Quest and Douglass High School to select a group of students from North and South Memphis to work alongside the design team, participate in monthly design workshops, attend site visits and public engagement sessions that will directly contribute to the final designs for the most visible area of Memphis’ riverfront, including Tom Lee Park.”
