Politico Magazine — “How to Build a ‘Post-Ferguson’ Police Station”

January 11, 2016

As Chicago reflects on the success of the city’s inaugural Architecture Biennial and our nation begins the New Year with renewed hope for our communities and cities, Politico Magazine revisits our Polis Station project, which aims to repair trust between citizens and police.

Briefly highlighting the Studio’s practice, the video follows the trajectory of the project and features the Studio’s Gia Biagi and Jeanne Gang. “We want to do the right things for our community. … There are forces that are beyond architecture, but why not use it as one of the tools to help address this issue.”
