Jeanne Gang Wins 2016 Architect of the Year Award

Announced today in London, Jeanne Gang is the 2016 Woman Architect of the Year, an award given by the Architectural Review.

Jeanne was nominated for her work on the Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership at Kalamazoo College in Michigan. The Arcus Center works to develop emerging leaders and sustain existing leaders in the fields of human rights and social justice. The Center is designed to support this important work by providing a nurturing, inclusive environment that is visible and proud.

Jeanne was one of four architects recognized for this year’s award, along with Tatiana Bilbao, Kazuyo Sejima, and Charlotte Skene Catling. Congratulations to all four architects, each of whom deserves to be recognized for their work.
