Jackie Woon Bae is a Project Leader in Studio Gang’s New York office, where she is currently helping to lead complex, mixed-use projects in the early design phases. Keenly interested in architecture’s ability to meet the evolving needs of the public and the environment, Jackie draws on her experiences designing new public spaces within high-profile cultural institutions such as the New Museum expansion in New York, the Albright Knox Gallery Expansion, and the Center for the Arts at University of Illinois Chicago while a Senior Architect at OMA New York.
Drawn to the Studio for its ethos of engagement with both the natural and built environments, Jackie draws inspiration from both inside and outside the discipline of architecture. A painter, ceramicist, and printmaker, Jackie previously served as an Adjunct Professor at the Boston Architectural College. She holds a Master of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University.
