In his role as Marketing Team Member, Henry Rowe supports the Studio’s larger marketing team as they grow our unique portfolio and hone our message. Working out of the Chicago office, he was attracted to the Studio’s interdisciplinary emphasis and dedication to understanding the potential of design as a catalyst for positive social and environmental change.
Henry is fascinated by architecture’s ability to shape the lives of the people who use and experience it while simultaneously offering insight into the identity and aspirations of a culture. Interested in urban and cultural projects that influence their wider social context, Henry takes a humanistic approach to his work, drawing on his bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Wesleyan University, where he also minored in Art History. Previously as an architectural intern at Gehry Partners, he contributed to the firm’s Menlo Park Campus for Facebook and the Los Angeles River Revitalization project.
Hailing from Los Angeles, Henry is an avid Dodgers fan—a pastime that tends to invoke a wide spectrum of emotions. He is drawn to natural environments such as El Capitan State Beach and Bodega Bay, as well as the Pacific Ocean and, on a humbler scale, the Connecticut River.
