Architect Christine Dunn is a Design Director in Studio Gang’s New York Office, where she leads architecture and urban design teams. She brings decades of experience to the Studio and is well versed at leading large scale cultural, civic, and educational projects. She comes to the studio from Sasaki, where she led the development and execution of such landmark projects as Boston City Hall Plaza and Bonnet Springs Park in Lakeland Florida.
She is driven by a desire to cultivate strong sense of place across scales—from the tactile qualities at a material scale to improving connectivity at the community scale. Deeply committed to service, Christine is a former board member of the Boston Society of Architects and previously served on the board of the Sasaki Foundation where she helped to address issues of social equity, resilience, and sustainability.
Christine received a Master of Architecture from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Boston Architectural College. Over the years, she has maintained a deep connection to the visual arts and material research, participating in the Precast Concrete Workshop at the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in 2016 and designing the Live Oak Pavilion for the Architectural Ceramics Assembly Workshop in 2018.
