Meredith Mack serves as Studio Gang’s Chief Financial Officer. She focuses on business management and strategy and leads the finance, HR, and IT teams that support the great design produced by the firm.
Meredith has been a senior executive in the design and construction field for twenty years, working as a client, owner’s representative, and now as CFO. Her specialties include museum and higher education projects: she led the teams that designed, built, and operated the Modern Wing at the Art Institute of Chicago and also served as Associate Vice President of Facilities at the University of Chicago during a major building campaign. Additionally, she has worked on six other museum projects and multiple campus projects throughout the nation. In these various roles, Meredith has had the opportunity to work with a number of world-class architects and is thrilled to now work with the Studio Gang team. Prior to her service in design and construction, Meredith worked in management and finance in the public sector and at the Chicago Park District, the City of Chicago, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Meredith has served on the boards of the Old Town School of Folk Music, Arts Alliance Illinois, and the Women’s Institute for Housing and Economic Development. She holds a master’s degree in Public Policy from the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government and a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University.
