Lindsey Wikstrom is a Design Team Member in Studio Gang’s New York office where she works on public and residential projects, designing at multiple scales. An early love of drawing and making led Lindsey to pursue architecture, beginning her studies at Arizona State University before earning her Master of Architecture degree from the Columbia University GSAPP, where she was awarded the Charles McKim Prize for Excellence in Design and the Saul Kaplan Traveling Fellowship, among others. A 2016 SOM Fellow, Lindsey was drawn to Studio Gang for the exciting geometry of its work, including projects like City Hyde Park, and considers equirectangular drawings among her specialties. A fan of science fiction, Lindsey is interested in devices like camera obscura, zoetropes, stereoscopes, microscopes, and magnifying glasses and enjoys nontraditional architectural collaborations with biologists and technologists. Calling Chinatown, New York, her home base, Lindsey is also partial to the landscapes of the Sonoran Desert, Roaring Fork Valley, and Lake Huron.
