Clifton Lyons serves as Executive Assistant in the Chicago office, providing day-to-day operational support to many of the Studio’s Principals and coordinating continuing education opportunities for the entire Studio Gang team. Fascinated by the psychological implications of architecture, specifically how different spaces influence cognition, Clifton was drawn to the Studio for its commitment to socially responsible design and unwavering focus on building human relationships.
A native Chicagoan, Clifton is interested in urban sociology, film studies, and intersectional politics and received his Bachelor of Arts in Government with an Emphasis in Political Theory and Public Law from Dartmouth College. Outside of the Studio he enjoys music, creative writing, fashion design, and digital storytelling. His favorite landscapes include The White Mountains in New Hampshire, the Arches National Park in Utah, the Toccoa Falls in Georgia, the Canyonlands National Park in Utah, and the Rockefeller Forest in California. His favorite bodies of water include the Connecticut River.
