Annette Miller is a Design Team Member in Studio Gang’s Chicago office. She is drawn to architecture because it allows her to be both creative and analytical, combining her passions for design, math, and art. She enjoys designing at a variety of scales, from furniture to master planning, but is most interested in design that engages and activates its surroundings physically, culturally, and environmentally. Hailing from Chicago, Annette has also called Versailles and New York home. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and a Master of Architecture from the Pratt Institute. As a designer at Bjarke Ingels Group in New York, she completed projects including 1200 Intrepid and the Smithsonian Master plan. Annette enjoys travel, film, and food. Her favorite landscapes include the Long Meadow of Prospect Park, the Swiss alps, the plains and rolling hills of the great Midwest, and the outerspace-like atmosphere of the Badlands.
